น้ำทะเลใสจนเห็นเกลียวคลื่นที่บนผืนทราย ....

             นี้คือจุดใต้สุดของจังหวัดคาโกชิม่า เกาะโยรง(与論島) อยู่ในประเทศญี่ปุ่น ยูริกะฮามะ(百合ヶ浜) หาดทรายขาวที่ปรากฎตัวเฉพาะเวลาน้ำลงเท่านั้น ชื่อ ยูริกะฮามะ นั้นมีที่มาจากสีขาวของทราย โดยคำว่า “ยูริ(百合)” ในภาษาญี่ปุ่นแปลว่า ดอกลิลลี่ซึ่งมีสีขาวบริสุทธิ์ หาดขาวยูริกะฮามะปรากฎให้เห็นอยู่กลางท้องทะเลระยิบระยับ หาดยูริกะฮามะ กว้างใหญ่สุดตา ผืนทรายมีลายคล้ายกับคลื่นทะเล เม็ดทรายบนหาดยูริกะฮามะนั้นมีรูปร่างแปลกตา เม็ดทรายสีขาวนี้เรียกว่า “ทรายรูปดาว” เนื่องจากมีรูปร่างคล้ายกับดาว ว่ากันว่าหากเก็บเม็ดทรายนี้จำนวนเท่ากับอายุกลับมาจะมีโชคดีมาเยือน หาดยูริกะฮามะนั้นจะต้องมีปัจจัยทางธรรมชาติ 3 ข้อจึงจะปรากฎตัวให้เห็น นั่นก็คือ อุณหภูมิสูงอากาศปลอดโปร่งแจ่มใส กระแสน้ำทะเลไหลมาบรรจบกัน และอยู่ในเวลาน้ำลง หากปัจจัยทั้งหมดนี้ไม่ครบก็จะไม่ปรากฎกายออกมาให้เห็น
