Baija-Cica experience

Innisfree Bija Cica Balm & Innisfree Bija Cica Intense Balm.

Hey, guys! The product that I want to review is the 'bija cica balm' from innisfree. This product includes Centella asiatica extract and is especially good for problematic skin. This product also includes Madecassoside that has skin-calming and repairing benefits. According to the advertisement, this product is supposed do wonders on irritation, inflammatory and acne. Both Bija-Cica Balm and the Intense balm are from same Innisfree Cica lineup and here are my thoughts after using them for some time now. Texture & Ingredient: The regular Cica balm has more of a thin lotion like texture to it and you can apply it to your skin before using the final step of your base skin care. Intense balm is thicker and has more oily texture to it. So you can apply it to your skin like a night cream as the final step of the base skincare. I personally liked clean feel of the regular balm better because I have problems with acne and I was afraid that the intense balm might clog my pores. Plus, since the weather is always hot in Thailand, I think regular balm feels much better on my skin. Lastly, regular balm was easier to work into my skincare routine. Performance: I think both the balm and the intense balm work great. After using these products for a while, I saw a drastic improvement of the redness and other irritation caused by dryness. It especially helped to reduce the visible appearance acne caused scars. In terms of performance, intense balm is more effective than the regular balm. (Maybe it has more concentration of active ingredients.) But as I mentioned before, because of intense balm’s thicker texture, it might be difficult to use it in the morning especially if you are putting on a makeup. So I recommend using the regular balm during the day time and using the intense balm in the night time like a night cream. Overall comments: Both of these products are pretty affordable and are great bang for the buck. If you have problematic skin and want to join the latest cica balm trend, I think these products would be your best bet. I strongly recommend it for people who have acne and trouble skin.
